xxWomen's Worthxx

Yesterday, August the 9th, was the celebration of Women's Day in South Africa to commerate all the women who fought in the struggle. A public holiday on a Monday, is just the best as I get to miss a pain of a tutorial.

I started the day off having breakfast at JnB Rivers in Cavendish, with my mother and grandmother, followed by  girly shopping time.

The next part of the day, I spent with the bf and friends. The guys braaied an amazing braai for us...the flavour was to good for words. I definately overate!!!It was such a relaxing day and a perfect end to a special long weekend.

It was raher chilly, so quite fitting that we decided to stay indoors for the better part of the day. I decided to keep it casual as I knew we'd be indoors. The black tights are from Pep, the All Stars from Street Fever, the striped vest from Mr P,and the black l/s is from Mr P too.

I decided to accesssorise with silver as my blues did not match entirely and black would blend a little too much. The bangles are both gifts, the ring from Kleins, the chain from Divas and the figure belt from Fundango. Thank goodness the belt allowed for extra room as after we ate, I definately needed to adjust it.

These are the biggest earings I own. I'm not really a massive earing kind of girl. I like my earing to be pretty and colourful (if they are big, they have to suite my face atleast)These hoops are form Identity.

The weather was so cold towards evening that the coat actually didn't help me that much...How I wish I had layered.

Just before saying goodnight after a very eventful day of exploring past childhoods. We played games that we hadn't played for years and had so much fun at it. Will have to make a point of having more days like these...
